I am really pleased to show you a selection of headpieces, all made using couture techniques, which are highlight pieces from my very recent millinery collections. These vary from beautiful winter felts to inexpensive but highly decorative fascinators! I believe head pieces should be great to look at, easy to wear, but most importantly flattering!
Just to get you in the mood, here is a riot of colour, textures and techniques, and then a pretty little fascinator - just right to wear to a friend's wedding or a day at the races.
A pretty feminine piece of ivory crin roses set on a bed of peacock hurl, with an easy to wear comfortable head band. Meanwhile large enough for Ascot and smart enough for a special wedding -
A 50's inspired vintage Dior style headpiece in dark navy blue crin set on a head band.
A dramatic wired and pleated crin one off couture piece headpiece, featuring sparkling hand beading, which is worn with a comfortable wire headband.
And now two trilby styles, wear them for autumn or for winter racing - a dramatic aubergine fur felt trilby with matching hatband.
And finally here's a twist on accessorising a vintage mid size trilby making it truly individual, a very local theme but you can choose your own colourway of course and trim!
Shown in spectrum blue fur felt, with a feather cockade trimmed with an silk covered button sporting the Alnwick Rugby Football Club lion rampant emblem, of Northumberland.
Ready-to-wear collections are available with fun and easy to wear fascinators starting from £75 - please enquire if you are interested in hiring as selected items are available on this basis - and for that special occasion why not commission your own couture heat or headpiece from £200! I really look forward to hearing from you and helping make that special day even more memorable with a headpiece by The Northumberland Milliner - Margaret Woodliff Wright
